It is a start of something great or small or to a day of challenges.
Leopards are graceful big cats with golden, spotted bodies. They are known for their ferocious hunting techniques. They are not only found in Africa, but all over the world.
Here are some interesting facts pertaining to the leopard:
- Leopards are very elusive and secretive animals,
- they live solitary lives,
- they have large territories,
- like a cat they will growl when angry and purr when content,
- leopards tend to have two or three cubs per gestation.
A leopard does not announce his/her kingdom but rules in it, so too the territory of the believer is blessed, and it is widened. Like a leopard, not much said in the Bible about Jabez, but see how he prayed:
But Jabez prayed to the God of Israel, “Bless me, God, and give me much land. Be with me and keep me from anything evil that might cause me pain.” And God gave him what he prayed for.
1Chronicles 4:10
Today, you may have to widen your territory, think out of the box, or take a risk. Do so with the will of God in mind, He who knows you by name, has called you to a greater territory, success and even wealth. Just be still, wait for the right moment, then with the wisdom of a leopard, act swiftly, with the knowledge God gives.
Dear Lord, allow me the opportunities to grow my territory, to have God’s grace over my life and to enjoy the sovereign power of God in everything I do. Lead me by your blessed Holy Spirit to bring blessings to others. In Jesus name, Amen. Dr Cliff Ferguson, Shalom Centurion.
