How many Flowers

Research estimates that, excluding algae, mosses, liverworts and hornworts, there are 390,900 plants, of which approximately 369,400 are flowering. Rafflesia, is the biggest flower in the world. “And why worry about clothes? Look how the wild flowers grow: they do not work or make clothes for themselves. 6:29 But I tell you that not even King Solomon with all his wealth had clothes as beautiful as one of these flowers.

Matthew 6:28 & 29

One must not give up on life when things go wrong, each new day will have a new flower, another blessing, good humour, new laughter, smiles and at the roots of the plant some troubles. Jesus says this in Matthew 6:32 & 33 (GNB) Your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.
This means whilst one toils within the kingdom, that which belongs to it, will be shared by God with those in need. Do not give up on your good work.

Dear Lord, as I appreciate the beauty of the flowers around me, fill my day with your light and open my eyes to the good in the world. Surround me with you love and care and protect me from negative perceptions. Fill my day with your glory, in Jesus name, Amen. Dr Cliff Ferguson – Shalom Centurion.
