The Hubble Telescope – 20+ years in space

Good morning, imagine looking through the Hubble Telescope, it helped scientists witness comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 colliding spectacularly with Jupiter in 1994. The giant planet’s gravitational pull ripped the comet apart into fragments, resulting in 21 visible impacts. The largest collision created a fireball that rose about 3,000 km above the Jovian cloud tops as well as a giant dark spot more than 12,000 km across — about the size of the Earth — and was estimated to have exploded with the force of 6,000 gigatons of Dynamite.

Not only did Hubble’s observations heighten public interest in the effects of cosmic impacts, it also shed light on the composition of Jupiter’s atmosphere. Imagine how much detail humans don’t know or have about the creator of heaven (universe) and earth. Yet as the human being tries to examine the full creation of God, they still are spiritually blind, as God is omnipresent through the `Holy Spirit the human is still confined to mortal knowledge and artificial intelligence, its own creation.

Isaiah 40:28 (KJV) Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Dear Father, great is the work of your hands, greater even still all we cannot see or understand. I know you are in control of every galaxy, planet, and our planet earth. Be glorified in your greatness O lord, Amen. Dr Cliff Ferguson – Shalom Centurion.
