The Oceans

Good morning, Imagine waking up to a view of the ocean. It is the heart of the planet. Water covers more than two-thirds of the Earth’s surface. Sea plants, like Posidonia, produce 70% of the oxygen we breathe, and the deep waters are home to wildlife and some of the biggest creatures on earth. The Ocean is an extraordinary and largely unexplored place, teeming with fascinatingly diverse plants and animals which, together with currents and natural systems, shape our planet and climate.

Your throne, O LORD, has been firm from the beginning, and you existed before time began. The ocean depths raise their voice, O LORD; they raise their voice and roar. The LORD rules supreme in heaven, greater than the roar of the ocean, more powerful than the waves of the sea.

Psalm 93:2-4 (GNB)

God built an entire echo system that maintains itself through the mechanics and nature of the sea. When one questions God and His Power relating to one’s own situation, then the circumstances, whichever one faces, are minute compared to the eternal space of God’s creation. One should therefore never doubt God’s power or the process of life, with it’s “give and take” phenomenon. Every movement of every wave has purpose, so too every circumstance has purpose and forms one to live a satisfied life.

Dear Lord, when I look at the wonders you created so that I may live, I know you are in full control. When that around me is out of control help me to have the faith in the process of bringing the storm to calm. I pray for calmness in my home and surroundings in Jesus’ name, Amen.
