Life Insurance?

Life must be enjoyed, you are key to making it happen. Looking at life insurance, the first American insurance company was organized by Benjamin Franklin in 1752 as the Philadelphia Contributionship. However, the first life insurance company in the American colonies was the Presbyterian Ministers’ Fund, organized in 1759. This was to ensure life support for their families after a minister passed on. The Global insurance market was expected to grow from about $4474 billion in 2020 to about $5050 billion in 2021 at a compound annual growth rate of 12.9%.

Average life cover payments per month vary from as low as R40 to at least R2 800. Albeit there is a difference between Insurance and Assurance, yet the two work hand in hand. Assurance in the spiritual realm cannot be bought or paid for, it comes straight from God by His Word, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

I do this in order that they may be filled with courage and may be drawn together in love, and so have the full wealth of assurance which true understanding brings. In this way they will know God’s secret, which is Christ himself. He is the key that opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2&3

Whilst life insurance sorts out and is spent by those who remain behind in life, Salvation is the assurance of eternal life, which everybody wants, but if it is not through Jesus, written in the book of life, it will not transpire.

Dear Father, I pray for eternal assurance, I have this through Christ my redeemer, sealed by the Holy Spirit. I thank you that it is not linked to the economy of this world, but to that of heaven. I pray for my family, and friends, that they too would come to know you and that this day be filled with your glory,

Amen.
